How do I turn on the Sayso keyboard?
Open the Settings app › General › Keyboard › Keyboards › Add New Keyboard, and choose Sayso. Then tap Sayso in that list and turn on Allow Full Access. Open the Sayso app once so it can hold the microphone for dictation.
Why does the keyboard need Full Access?
So it can talk to the Sayso app for dictation, use ✨ to fix text, and offer one-tap paste for verification codes. The privacy policy explains exactly what it does with that access.
The Mac hotkey doesn’t do anything.
Sayso needs Accessibility access to hear the key. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility and turn on Sayso. If fn opens the emoji picker instead, set “Press fn key to” to “Do Nothing” in System Settings › Keyboard, or choose another key in Sayso’s settings.
Can I keep everything on my device?
Yes. In Settings, choose the on-device engine for speech and for cleanup, and turn off “Identify speakers” for meetings. The ✨ button on the iPhone keyboard always uses Claude, so skip it if you want nothing to leave the device.
Meeting transcripts are missing the other people on the call.
On Mac, Sayso records others through system audio. Allow it in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Screen & System Audio Recording.
How do I delete a recording?
Open the meeting and choose Delete meeting and recording. If iCloud sync is on, it is removed from your other devices too.
